I’ve incorporated many of them into the positive affirmations to beat loneliness that you’ll find below. First, we’ll go over a few of these tips. Next, watch the video I’ve created based on these affirmations. That will help you do the things you do to help leave loneliness behind. Finally, if you are lonely and depressed consider seeking medical help. You could be battling a medical issue and not realize it.

Tips to Beat Loneliness

  • Join groups, like Meetups, that are in areas that you are interested in.
  • Get into the habit of striking up conversations with others wherever you go.
  • Start reaching out to family and friends via visits, zooms, calls, or texts.
  • Join a group engaged in healthy activities, e.g., hiking clubs, yoga classes, gyms, etc.
  • Keep yourself moving and active. Volunteer, engage in hobbies, get regular exercise, etc.
  • Spend time in nature. Ideally you can be exercising in nature – taking walks with friends, etc.
  • Meditate to clear your mind and closer to your spiritual source.
  • Consider getting a pet if you don’t already have one. This is a guaranteed loving companion!
  • Actively pursue what you want.

Beat Loneliness by Sharing Favorite Hobbies with Others

You schedule fun things to do so you’ll have something to look forward to.

You keep yourself busy and on the go.
You always have something to do to keep yourself occupied.
You engage in hobbies that you love.
You consider enjoying and sharing your hobbies with others.

You consider having a side-hustle where you can meet others and also make money.
You consider connecting to others via social media to make even more friends.
The more great friends you make the easier it gets.
You are the captain of your ship.
You are the master of your life.
You take it upon yourself to create the life of your dreams.

You consider volunteering to help others.
You know that the more you help others the better you’ll feel.
