Today we feature 100 Positive Affirmations for Anxiety Reduction. The way I’ve created these affirmations is to focus on habits that are known to help ease anxiety. What you’ll want to do is to start doing more of those good habits while eliminating the bad ones. The habits include:
Have a Healthy Diet
Get Enough Sleep
Cut Back on Bad Habits – cigarettes, alcohol, processed foods, etc.
Declutter Your Life
Feed Your Mind Positivity
Staying in Touch with Family and Friends
Now, a disclaimer before we get into it. These affirmations for anxiety should not be substituted for qualified medical advice. Please see a medical specialist for any health related problem including stress and anxiety especially if it is overwhelming you. Having said that, the habits these affirmations address are all known to help with anxiety at some level so let’s get to it.

Being in nature is known to help ease anxiety.
I look forward to getting out in nature as often as I can.
If I have a local park I go there often.
I enjoy meditating in nature.
By walking in nature regularly I’m doing two different things to help ease any anxiety – being in nature and walking.
I enjoy taking weekly trips to the most beautiful area nearby.
I love being in nature and soaking up it’s beauty.
Nature is a natural cure for stress.
I bring nature into my home in the form of plants.
Nature is my home away from home.
I put up beautiful pictures of nature in my home. This too is known to reduce stress.
Positive Affirmations for Anxiety – Healthy Diet
A healthy diet can help lessen any stress or anxiety I may have.
I add more fruits and vegetables to my diet.
I avoid processed foods.
Focusing on eating more natural foods will help me feel better.
I watch the quantity of what I eat. Less is usually better.
I cut down or eliminate meats, dairy and sugar in my diet.
Eating healthier is a huge step to easing anxiety and one step I can start today.
I add more good foods to my diet and eliminate the bad foods.
I add new healthy foods to my diet every day.
Healthy eating becomes easier and easier and is great for me.
Affirmations for Getting Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep is necessary for me to lessen my stress and anxiety.
I sleep long enough to feel well-rested.
I enjoy the occasional nap to feel rested.
Proper rest is a necessary component of feeling great.
I darken my room to get the best sleep.
I don’t watch tv in my bedroom at night.
My bedroom is a sanctuary for rest.
I make my bedroom as comfortable as possible and fill it with things that I love.
I don’t take my phone into my bedroom.
The more sleep I get the better my mood and ability to handle stress.
Positive Affirmations for Anxiety Reduction – Cutting Back on Bad Habits
I seek to avoid stressful people and situations.
Certain habits can exacerbate anxiety – I will cut back on those habits.
I cut back on watching tv.
Knowing the news is often negative, I seek to eliminate or cut back on reading or watching the news.
If I know something is bad for me I seek to eliminate it.
I reduce or eliminate my intake of caffeine.
I reduce or eliminate my intake of alcohol.
Knowing processed foods is bad – I seek to eliminate them.
I reduce or eliminate my use of cigarettes.
I reduce or eliminate my use of tobacco products.
Bad habits are disappearing from my life, helping me to eliminate stress and anxiety.
Meditation – Affirmations to Help You Relax
Knowing meditation is beneficial for anxiety I seek to meditate daily.
I schedule a time everyday to meditate.
I create a relaxing area in my home in which to meditate.
Meditation has been shown to lower stress levels so I make a commitment to meditate daily.
I spend some time every day in relaxed silence.
If I can I will go into nature to meditate.
The more I meditate the easier it is for me to handle stress.
The more I meditate the more relaxed and happy I become.
I bring the peace of meditation with me throughout the day.
I look forward to meditating every day.
Positive Affirmations to Help You Declutter Your Life
I will get rid of those items which don’t bring me joy.
I throw out or give away those items I haven’t used in a year.
The more minimalist I become the easier my life becomes.
When I get rid of stuff I get rid of stress.
When I declutter my home I declutter my mind.
The less stuff I have to worry about the less I worry.
I can declutter and decrease anxiety and stress now.
A decluttered home brings me peace.
My home is my sanctuary and I do what I can to make it clean and organized.
I transform my home into a sanctuary of all things good and relaxing.
Every day I do something to declutter my living space.
Positive Affirmations for Anxiety – Feed Your Mind Positivity
The more positive things I listen to and watch the better my outlook on life.
The more positive goals I have the more positive things I have to look forward to.
I read and listen to positive uplifting motivational material.
I stay away from the news.
The more I listen to peaceful, relaxing music the more relaxed and stress-free I become.
I can combine exercise with listening to relaxing music or motivational material.
I feed my mind positive motivation on a regular basis.
The goals I create give me excitement and uplift my soul.
I move toward those things that excite me and motivate me.
My mind controls how I feel so I feed it positive, relaxing, and uplifting material.

I stay in touch with family and friends on a regular basis.
I maintain my relationships.

When I talk to family and friends I do so with love in my heart.

I keep myself hydrated by drinking enough water every day.
I schedule a massage every now and then for total relaxation.
Deep breathing can calm me down so I do that on a regular basis.
I add more of those things that bring me joy into my daily and weekly routines.
I smile and laugh often even if I don’t really feel like it. The more I do this the happier I get.
Yoga is relaxing and spiritually centering so I look at doing more of that type of activity.
The more I do these affirmations the less anxiety I have.
The peace of the Universe is already within me, keeping me relaxed and calm.
I do the things that I know will help me overcome stress.
My life is becoming more relaxed and peaceful every day.
My mind is more relaxed and peaceful right now.
